Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Salesforce CPQ and Billing Consultant to join our team. As part of our dynamic workforce, you'll play a key role in driving Salesforce CPQ+ projects and delivering robust solutions that meet business needs. As a Senior Salesforce CPQ and Billing Consultant, you will lead the design, implementation, and support of Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver seamless, scalable, and maintainable solutions, integrating CPQ with Salesforce modules and external systems. Your role will involve technical configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Quote-to-Cash process.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • ​​​​​​Implement and support the integration of Salesforce CPQ and Billing applications.
  • Customize and configure CPQ functionality, including pricing rules, product configurations, discounting, and quoting processes.
  • Implement and manage CPQ Billing features, such as Contract Renewals, Amendments, Subscriptions, Billing Rules, Tax Rules, and Payment Schedules.
  • Provide expertise in Advanced Order Management and Salesforce Billing, including billing for different periods (monthly, quarterly, annually) and adjustments.
  • Handle scenarios involving invoicing plans for various subscription terms (annual, monthly, one-time, multi-year).
  • Strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash business process and its integration with the billing module.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce CPQ configuration, pricing, and quoting.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, including Lightning and LWC, to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Business Analysts to scope, estimate, and manage defect fixes and deployments.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of Salesforce experience, with a minimum of 5 years in CPQ/Billing implementations.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise with Salesforce CPQ+ and Billing implementations including strong experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud customization, development, and integration.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist. Billing Specialist or Advanced Billing Specialist Super Badges are preferred.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with a full-lifecycle Salesforce CPQ implementation as a techno-functional expert.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD processes, and agile development methodologies.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Application Architect) are a plus.
