Biogen has multiple distributors globally that sells and distributes their drugs in over 90 countries.

Biogen, a true pioneer in the critical field of neuroscience, works toward solutions for conditions like multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This effort requires operating at maximum efficiency, companywide, so Biogen implemented the Denodo Platform.

Biogen business analysts were manually collecting sales data from numerous internal and external sources, including wholesalers and distributors from around the world, which meant that it sometimes took several months just to integrate the necessary data for analysis. The Denodo Platform established a data virtualization layer that provided easier, faster access to stakeholders’ critical data.
